Popcorn Monies – We will be collecting the monies from the Popcorn sales this Monday, November 30th.
Advancement – We will focus on the advancement of our first year Scouts during our regular Troop Meetings. Please bring your books to the meetings so that we know what you need for your next rank progression.

Upcoming Activities
Webelos Family Night – We will begin seeing Webelos at 6:00pm. Will need Scouts on-site no later than 5:30pm to finalize setup.
Lock-in/Merit Badge Fair – Scheduled for December 4th – 5th. We will be offering two merit badges this year:
Morning Session: Crime Prevention Instructor: Mr. Greg Miller
Afternoon Session: Photography Instructor: Mr. Kevin Gragg
Please review the requirements online prior to the sessions so that you’re prepared.
We will also hold a mini-Eagle Quest that will cover both the morning and afternoon sessions. We’ll work on Tenderfoot, 2nd Class and 1st Class requirements.
Harlan, Raife, Joey and Tamaki are highly encouraged to attend Eagle Quest
Christmas Party – Be thinking about our upcoming Christmas Party, which will be held on Monday, December 21st. As we have in the past, we will have a “Dirty Santa” exchange. For this, please bring a wrapped gift, the more outrageous the better.
We may begin decorating the Hut for Christmas on Monday, November 30th. Let’s get creative!
Eskimo Joe’s Scouting Adventure – The rollout of the 100th Anniversary Joe’s Scouting Shirt has been delayed. When we have the firm date, we’ll be passing it along. Stay tuned, it’s a cool design.
Centennial Eagle Scout Banquet – Planning is about to begin for a gala that will bring together all of the Eagle Scouts that reside within
Ouachita Trek – The 31st Annual Ouachita Trek will take place on March 13 – 17. The cost of the trek will be $70 per Scout. $10 will cover our transportation costs and $60 will go for the food, park fees, etc. There will also be a Shakedown for all first timers, and rangers, that will cost $10 per Scout. The Shakedown will take place on February 27-28 at
Mason Strom has volunteered to be a Ranger for one of the treks. Given his Philmont experience, I would recommend signing up with him as you’ll have a great experience.
